Description
Arguably the most popular bar with expats in Brasilia.
The owner, Eduardo Nobre, spent many years in California to learn about wines, so it is no surprise that the wine cellar is stocked with a fantastic selection of wines. The staff is very friendly and more than helpful recommending a wine. Most of the staff speaks very good English, so for non-Portuguese speakers that is an added bonus.
The food is spectacular and, as the name suggest, is mainly pork. But what a treat.
The seating is outside in a wonderful atmosphere so that one does not think that they are in Brasilia, but maybe in Italy or France.
The prices will not send you broke and, considering the experience you will have, rather cheap.
Clube IVV Swinebar does not accept any reservations and works on a first come, first served policy. So if you want to get a table without waiting a long time you had better come early, especially if you have a big group. After 19:30 it is most likely that you will have to wait for a table.
