Castália is a craft bakery founded by three partners, all of them sons of Brazilian diplomats, who studied the art of breadmaking down to its finest details. They offer a broad range of breads, pastries and viennoiseries (their croissants and pains au chocolat are unrivalled in Brasilia).

They combine the finest classic baking ingredients with produce from all over Brazil and, more specifically, from the Cerrado region.

Their cakes are also to die for – try their banana bread and their dark chocolate cake with fleur du sel.
The original store is at 102 Norte, but they have expanded their business with a second, larger unit at 304 Sul, with plenty of seating space and a more welcoming environment. One of the best places in town for brunch.

As if that weren´t enough, they recently opened a great pizza place (Castália Pizza) at a separate location at 708/709N, which will be reviewed separately.
