"If you like barbecued meat, there is no way around going to have lunch at Asa Gaúcha Restaurante in Asa Norte. Considered to be one of the best BBQ restaurants in Brasilia, the quality of meat is always consistently outstanding.

And it is a “self-service” restaurant, which is very popular with Brazilians. You just grab yourself a plate and load it up with all the potatoes, pasta, vegetables, fruits, etc you can eat and head over to the BBQ area. And here you can have your pick of different meats, like picanha, bife ancho, lamb, fish, sausages, and chicken. If you feel like a desert afterwards you can pick one from their extensive selection. The price of lunch is determined by weight, desert and drinks are extra.

The place is very popular, so it is recommended to make a reservation.

Only downside of the restaurant is that is only open for lunch from Tuesday to Friday from 11:300 – 14:45 and Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 – 15:30.”
