One of the hardest things to find here in Brasilia are imported food items. You can get nearly everything here, but you have to know where. Casa de Doces e Queijos are located in CEASA and Guara. Both locations are a bit out of the Brasilia town center but definitely worth the trip.
Here you can find the hard to find items like cheddar cheese, curry powder and paste, all sort of spices, German dark breads, French cheese, imported salamis and hams, international sweets and marmalades, mustards from around the world, Asian food ingrediencies and imported alcohol.
This shop is one of the greatest discoveries I had in regards to food here in Brasilia. As I said, it is a bit of a hike, but the products and prices are worth it.
Go and check it out.
Great tip! Thanks mate!
