In a world of consumerism and a throw-away society it is important that we try our best to support local producers and artisan crafts. One of the community initiatives is this shop.
Cobogó Mercado de Objetos is a cooperative local producer shop located in SCRN 704/705 in Asa Norte.
It has several different vendors on two levels, selling everything from secondhand clothes, art and craft articles, jewelry, pottery and plants.
They also operate a great little coffee shop with outside seating under a magnificent Brazilian fig tree (Ficus cyclophylla), which is an IUCN Red List Endangered species. For the kids, there is a small playground.
This is a great little place to buy some locally produced products and have a nice coffee and cake, all while supporting small business owners.
